Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2019/882 – European Accessibility Act.
Last updated: 20 June 2025
This statement applies to the website intersportrent.it, managed by Inter-sport Italia S.p.A., a private company operating in the sports goods retail sector. In
accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2019/882 and in relation to the harmonised technical standard UNI CEI EN 301 549:2021, Intersport Italia S.p.A. provides the following information on the accessibility status of the website.
Compliance status
As of the date of this statement, the website does not fully comply with the technical accessibility requirements set out in standard EN 301 549.
Some digital features and components do not meet the criteria of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
Assessment method
A technical review was conducted in June 2025 by an external professional certified in digital accessibility (IAAP CPACC), through:
- automated tests with tools such as WAVE, axe DevTools and ARC Toolkit;
- manual exploratory analysis of the main sections of the website (homepage, preregistration pages, shopping cart and checkout);
- observations of behaviour during interaction using a keyboard and assistive technologies;
- observations on the behaviour of certain interactive and dynamic components, with a focus on WCAG 2.1 standards.
Outcome of the assessment
The evaluation highlighted some discrepancies, in particular related to:
- focus status not always visible due to CSS styles that suppress the outline; lack of 'focus traps' in overlays and modals: the focus can remain on the underlying page; some interactive elements remain accessible behind open modals;
- missing or duplicate labels in form fields; absence of autocomplete attributes; visual labels not always programmatically associated with fields;
- multiple <main> landmarks on the same page; incomplete or inconsistent heading structure; list items without <ul> or <ol>; presence of redundant titles and unauthorised or incorrect ARIA attributes;
- some buttons and links are empty or lack accessible names; positive tabindex and suboptimal tab order management;
- Insufficient contrast on text and icons in specific sections; reflow issues when zoomed to 200% or higher;
- focus behaviour in navigable components;
- consistent labelling of links and calls to action;
- consistent use of ARIA attributes in dynamic components;
- images and icons without meaningful alternative text; tooltips not accessible to screen readers; reviews expressed in graphic form that cannot be interpreted by assistive technologies;
- adaptation issues when zooming (e.g. partial reflow at 200Å).
Content or services provided by third parties outside the control of Intersport Italia S.p.A. are excluded from this assessment.
